About Us
Convenience, Redefined.
Daily Press was built on a simple idea: re-imagine the outdated convenience store by creating a family-friendly atmosphere, serving fresh food without the wait, and using innovation to make every visit easier.
Daily Press began in 2009 when a family-owned oil company set out to reinvent the convenience store experience. After decades in the industry, they saw a shift. Stores no longer felt like part of people’s daily lives, and customers’ needs weren’t being met. Families, workers, and busy professionals were all looking for quick, healthier meals that weren’t greasy and still had real nutritional value.
For three years, the Daily Press team traveled the country gathering fresh food ideas and exploring innovative technologies. In May 2012 the first Daily Press opened its doors in Monroe, Louisiana, introducing touch-screen ordering kiosks that eliminated lines and let customers build their own meals from Po’boys to soups, salads, and spuds.
Today, Daily Press continues that mission: to serve fresh, customizable food that makes your day easier, whether it’s a Cajun Turkey Po’boy, a flatbread pizza, or a grilled chicken salad.
